Hello, I am an experienced Wikipedia editor who has volunteered as an online ambassador to assist students editing Wikipedia:India Education Program/Courses/Fall 2011/Research Methodology Year 3 Group A articles. Sources of International Economic Law[edit]
Are you going to do more work on Sources of International Economic Law? It is a fascinating subject we should have an article about. Much better references are needed and a great deal of editing. The language used in the article is poor for use by a general reader. Also, although no source can be found for the material in the article it looks like it was copied from something, a class handout, perhaps. I know this note is rather harsh, but, bottom line, are you going to do more work or should we just get rid of it? The subject is important, although it could arguably be merged into International_law#Sources_of_international_law? User:Fred Bauder Talk 14:35, 27 October 2011 (UTC)
- One of the interesting views I have come across is the idea that international laws are contracts between nations which only they have standing to enforce. The media file you uploaded as File:IILAW.jpg appears to be missing information as to its authorship (and or source), or if you did provide such information, it is confusing for others trying to make use of the image.
It would be appreciated if you would consider updating the file description page, to make the authorship of the media clearer.
Although some images may not need author information in obvious cases, (such where an applicable source is provided),authorship information aids users of the image, and helps ensure that appropriate credit is given (a requirement of some licenses).
