I removed your comment from Talk:Jessi Slaughter cyberbullying case

[edit]

I removed your comment from the talk page. Its really not appropriate for editors to be making conjectures of a persons mental health on Wikipedia pages. Active Banana (talk) 06:29, 25 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

{note the above message is really short so that I could get it to you ASAP, if you would like a fuller response, please let me know, although it will be several hours before I can respond. I dont think that you had anything but the best intentions when you made that post.Active Banana (talk) 06:35, 25 July 2010 (UTC))[reply]
Wikipeia editing is all done by volunteers and so it is not really possible to "assign" someone to an article- it is up to the community to maintain vigiliance. We do have a series of "protection levels" WP:RPP. If the article survives the deletion process, it is likely that this article will be placed on a high protection level where everyone needs to propose an edit on the talk page and get "approval"/consensus before an admin makes the change to the article and it goes out "live".
And as far as "impact" Wikipedia tries to only report about what reliable sources say/have said about a topic of an article, we do not advocate for any changes from within our articles. WP:NPOV.
Thank you for your concern and please continue to provide input into the discussions.Active Banana (talk) 14:26, 25 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
