Wikimedia elections[edit]
I got an automated email today asking me to vote. Wading through the candidates’ questions and answers is not easy. But, there was one question that was very helpful to me, asking the candidates to name three elephants in the room. Only a few candidates answered this question and did so seriously. I liked this response especially:

That candidate is Ashwin Baindur ("AshLin"). I agree. It’s great that Wikipedia has a policy against censorship, but almost the exact same thing can be accomplished by getting rid of certain editors instead of getting rid of certain content. Anythingyouwant (talk) 14:52, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
