Article Review

[edit]

The Bcl-XL article contains no citations or references, except for one picture (overview of signal transduction pathway) which may not be relevant to article.

Introduction is poor and contains too much information. First sentence does not begin with bolded words, just as every Wikipedia article should begin as. First paragraph also does not give an good introduction of the Bcl-xL protein. It contains too much information that could be put on other sections. Should also get rid of the words "would" and "well-established"

No table of contents is available. One or two more sections could be added such as "clinical significance" or "role in disease" for its role in polycythemia vera.

Overall, introduction needs to be shortened and more sections need to be added to spread content more evenly.
