Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks. JonHarder 16:42, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
Jon
I am merely adding a resource, clearly an external link, with related information and services. While this is a for profit company the information on their site and the service they provide in RT-PCR is credible and valid for inclusion.
- You are adding a link to the same site to many articles. Your user name indicates a conflict of interest. If you continue to add links to the same site, you will be blocked from further editing. You will want to review WP:EL, WP:NOT a link repository, and WP:SPAM. JonHarder 16:54, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue spamming you will be blocked from editing. JonHarder 17:08, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
Jon,
This is not spam, these are relevant external links placed in only the appropriate topics. Note the inclusion of AppliedBiosystems.com, www.gene-quantification.info, www.ocimumbio.com, and www.Affymetrix.com ALL are similar resources to Applied Real-Time Genetics, LLC (www.artgenlabs.com).

This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia. JonHarder 17:39, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
To whom do I escalate this matter? You are being overzealous and are ignorantly dumping Applied Real-Time Genetics into the category of spam.
- You should read Wikipedia:External links. This gives the ground rules followed by Wikipedia. In particular: you should never post links for organisations you are affliated with. We have to assume that you are affliated to artgenlabs.com. Therefore editors are pretty much compelled to remove your links, ask you to desist and do things properly, and block you if you will not follow recognised procedures. There is a procedure for dispute resolution, see Wikipedia:Dispute resolution. I hope you will find yourself able to stay and use your expertise in these fields to add content, not links, to relevant articles. Notinasnaid 18:37, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
