September 2023[edit]

Information icon Hi Asbi145! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Upreti several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Upreti, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. The content you are trying to restore is largely unsourced as well as unreliably sourced content. User:Sitush, a Wikipedian knowledgeable in this field (caste/ethnicity of Indian subcontinent) has given his reasons for removal. Discuss in the talk page with him and others and gain WP:CONSENSUS instead of edit warring and pushing your personal version. Abide by how Wikipedia works. Or you might get reported.. • Trying to work around the problems in your text by moving the same changes to Uprety is not a right way to go. We are all working here on an encyclopedia, so an advice of colleagues helps us all to improve our texts. Please avoid such actions in the future. --Викидим (talk) 17:34, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
