Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.-gadfium 18:40, 30 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you.TeapotgeorgeTalk 07:06, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

October 2008[edit]

Please do not add inappropriate external links, as you did with this edit to Korean language. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. PrinceOfCanada-HG (talk) 08:06, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you add inappropriate external links, as you did with this edit to Hangul. PrinceOfCanada-HG (talk) 08:07, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have been temporarily blocked from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for continuing to add spam links. If you wish to make useful contributions, you are welcome to come back after the block expires. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Gogo Dodo (talk) 08:22, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Links[edit]

It appears your sole aim in editing Wikipedia is to add external links to Korea-related articles, particularly links to http://english.visitkorea.or.kr . Before adding any more links, I would like you to acknowledge the following question: Do you have any connection with the http://english.visitkorea.or.kr website or organisation? For example, as an employee or contributor?

You have been adding links to Wikipedia for some time, and have been blocked before for spamming, but you do not seem to have entirely understood or accepted that your edits are problematic. As an example, your recent edit to Seoul introduced various errors, i) the link was placed in the wrong section - the visitkorea site is not an "Official site" of the City of Seoul; ii) the title of the linked page was in bold, which is not necessary; iii) there was already a link to the site from that page, albeit a broken one.

If you continue to misformat links, are unable to give a satisfactory answer to the above question, or do not broaden the scope of your editing (see Wikipedia:Single purpose account), your ability to edit Wikipedia may once again be restricted. Deiz talk 09:28, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
