User talk:AvereAdmin
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Avere, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: World Electric Vehicle Association. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 13:03, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the username you have chosen (AvereAdmin) seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of a group, company or website.
There are two issues with this:
- It is possible that you have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, you must exercise great caution when editing on topics related to your organization.
- Your account cannot represent a group of people. You may wish to create a new account with a username that represents only you. Alternatively, you may consider changing your username to avoid giving the impression that your personal account is being used for promotional purposes.
Regardless of whether you change your name or create a new account, you are not exempted from the guideline to avoid editing where you have a conflict of interest. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations.The article in question is Avere. Thank you.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Avere. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - World Electric Vehicle Association. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at World Electric Vehicle Association - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. jsfouche ☽☾Talk 13:06, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Syrthiss (talk) 13:07, 3 December 2010 (UTC)AvereAdmin (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I am the administrator of AVERE web portal. I was blocked while I was trying to create a separate page about our organization, which is currently described at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Electric_Vehicle_Association. I did not intend to make the new page identical to the existing entry, but to write an article with more information about AVERE. My intention was not to spam Wikipedia but to expand it, adding information the users might be interested in.
Decline reason:
See 2 points below on both the name, and the article/COI (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 13:13, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- A point which has not yet been raised, as your existing block takes precedence, is that your username is, I regret to say, unacceptable here. I understand that you are an admin within your own website, but within wikipedia usernames containing suffixes suggestive of responsibility within our encyclopedia, such as -admin (or-steward or -'crat, for additional examples) are not allowed. Please request a username change using the {{unblock-un}} template. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 12:43, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
- I concur with Anthony Bradbury - we have 2 issues: 1, a username that cannot exist on Wikipedia due to the restrictions in the username policy, and second there are WP:COI/WP:PROMO issues with the subject of the article and your relationship to the subject. Your use of the unblock template should include the new, proposed username and confirmation that you will not violate the COI policies as you continue to edit Wikipedia. Thanks!
