Please do not upload copyrighted images like Ralph Arvesen's photograph of Lady Bunny which is clearly marked as copyright "All rights reserved". Also it is misleading to say the least to add 4,000 characters of text in a single edit with the edit summary "formatting and grammar adjustment" (WP:SUMMARYNO). Especially when you're working in a WP:BLP! Umimmak (talk) 00:43, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi-- this was a required assignment for a college class. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Axolotlsanonymous (talkcontribs) 00:46, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please sign your comments on talk page, thanks. It's not really an excuse that this is an assignment for you to disregard copyright, have misleading summaries, etc. And the only student who has indicated they were working on this page on the talk page was Ryanmetier in a class which ended last year. What's the instructor/course? Umimmak (talk) 01:33, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry. I have little to no clue how to work this site and will never be editing again. Each student in our class is working on a different page. I do not feel comfortable revealing the name of my college or instructor. I am happy to direct you to my instructor's talk page. I will say that the image I uploaded is listed under a Creative Commons license, which I was under the impression was okay to use; and this is tagged on the photo. All of my information is sourced and I'm happy to provide credits of my further research. In the end if you want to take anything I changed down I really don't care. --Axolotlsanonymous (talk) 01:41, 10 May 2021 (UTC)Axolotlsanonymous[reply]

Where are you seeing it's licensed under a creative commons license? The photographer's flicker page says it's copyrighted: [1]. Umimmak (talk) 01:48, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Found here https://search.creativecommons.org/photos/0914e36a-942f-49d5-887d-5c4639f7479a Please just leave me alone. I will remove the image if that's what it takes. I'm just here to graduate. --Axolotlsanonymous (talk) 01:58, 10 May 2021 (UTC) Axolotsanonymous[reply]

Hi Axolotlsanonymous, I work for the Wiki Education Foundation; we run a program to support student editors like you to help avoid problems like this. Can you have your instructor reach out to us? They should visit teach.wikiedu.org to get signed up. Thanks! --LiAnna (Wiki Ed) (talk) 00:04, 11 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
