Thank you

- Thank you for the gentlemanly/womanly manner in which you go about this web page and encourage quality in editing, e.g. The Snow Queen. I also liked your pointing out the article on cruft, which is something to be avoided and corrected.--Drboisclair (talk) 13:15, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
Thank you, and a clarification of intent
[edit]Thanks very much for your input re the discussion about WP:N as it relates to FOSS, and specifically NoteEdit. Just one clarification re your comment, "declining to improve an article on the grounds that it has inherent notability to a subset of Wikipedians isn't likely to help it, sorry." My apologies if that is how it came across, I decided not to work on the article itself because a) I'm not familiar enough with NoteEdit, and would certainly make mistakes, and more importantly b) I was hoping to encourage a wider discussion, and felt that an unchanged article would help focus attention on the process rather than on the individual quality of a single article. I hope that is a clearer explanation of my intent.
Best regards,

- Aha! I'm sorry if I misinterpreted you. I sincerely hope NoteEdit is saved. Let me know if there's anything I can do. Aylad ['ɑɪlæd] 15:41, 9 May 2008 (UTC)
Otto Soemarwoto

- That's awesome, thanks for the heads up. I never would have done anything had you not started events in motion. Best, Aylad ['ɑɪlæd] 04:11, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
RE: Main Page Talk
[edit]To me, it's blatant out and out trolling. But I've put it back for you. Regards, GARDEN 14:25, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
- Collapsed the trolling though, because that's obviously what it is. Left the feeding in plain sight though. GARDEN 14:28, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

Handwritten note
[edit]Ugh, sorry, forgot to uncheck the automatic templating box. Anyway, it's not really a good idea to have a duplicate copy of an article in article space; if you need to do some sandbox-type stuff, why not copy the article into your userspace sandbox? It could be confusing to have two articles that say the same thing in mainspace. Writ Keeper ⚇♔ 13:22, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
- I meant to put it in Userspace. It's been a long time since I did much editing and I forgot the ropes. Sorry! Please delete the page immediately. Aylad ['ɑɪlæd] 13:24, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
- Nah, no worries. It's not the first time someone did that, and I bet it won't be the last. :) I'll stick a g7 on there too, to maybe get it fast-tracked a little bit. Thanks! Writ Keeper ⚇♔ 13:26, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
