Request reason:

I think I have been blocked for the misuse of an alt account. The edits I made today were reverting obvious vandalism to my school's wikipedia page. According to WP:SOCK, an illegitimate use of alternate accounts is to bypass a block that was placed on a different account. If this is the reason the account B2005 was blocked, I promise to not edit with this again. However, I would like to point out that the edits I made have nothing to do with the reason I was blocked on my main account. What happened today was that I saw vandalism and decided to revert it. If I did not revert it, the vandalism would stay there for an indefinite period of time. I believe that my edits were justified and so would most logical thinking people (excluding admins because they are not most people and have a duty to keep Wikipedia constructive). This is a single time event and I was not going to continue my usual editing activities on this account. I merely saw a problem and fixed it and left it at that. I'm not patrolling any logs and just wanted to fix the one-time vandalism to my school's wikipedia page. The 2 edits I just made are the only edits I have made since getting blocked, and were the only edits I was planning on making until unblocked. In fact, I have an entire list of future edits that I want to make when I am eventually unblocked. These were constructive edits that will prevent people from being mislead. I know for a fact that the school mascot is not a seal. Because I was editing a school page, if this constitutes WP:COI, let me know and I will fix it. If this is sockpuppetry, I will no longer make edits using any other account until my main is unblocked (which is taking a while as no admin as responded in a few weeks). If this block is about something else entirely unrelated to what I have just written about, please tell me why I was blocked. Thank you. B2005 (talk) 00:27, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Declined. You, the human editor behind the accounts Cosmic6811 and B2005, are the target of the block. Use of any IP or account while blocked is socking/block evasion, by definition. Appeal at your main account. -- ferret (talk) 02:00, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

This is the alt account of user Cosmic6811. My main account has just been unblocked and I was wondering if this account could also be unblocked as well. It is fine if the answer is no. B2005 (talk) 06:01, 17 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Good, because that's what it is. One user, one account. — Daniel Case (talk) 06:30, 17 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
