Proposed deletion of 2015 Florida State vs. Georgia Tech football game[edit]

The article 2015 Florida State vs. Georgia Tech football game has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Single football games, even ones with exciting endings, do not generally warrant standalone articles; and this content can be included at other pages, e.g. Florida State–Georgia Tech football rivalry.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Evans County, Georgia article's Demographic's section[edit]

Hi,

I saw where you blanked a good bit of information on the Demographics section on the Evans County, Georgia page. I've been working on that page off and on for a while was wondering what your reasons were for the deletion? Reb (talk) 23:48, 9 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I did that on the Claxton page, not Evans County. I brought back the 2000 Census racial makeup data on that after deleting everything else related to 2000, as that census is now outdated with the one we have now that will be outdated in four years.

My mistake. I had been looking at two different things at once lol. Reb (talk) 16:39, 10 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed you have been changing the demographic data on several articles without leaving sources. Could you please explain where you are getting your data? Thanks. Magnolia677 (talk) 23:06, 30 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

American FactFinder. Check the data.

Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 22:24, 14 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for adding sources to your most recent edits. Please add a source to your other edits before making new edits. This will prevent them from being reverted. Thanks. Magnolia677 (talk) 23:01, 14 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
At Shelby, Mississippi, you added a random link to the US Census Bureau. In fact, the link to Shelby is [1]. Please add an accurate link to the data you are sourcing or the edit will be reverted. Thanks for your cooperation. Magnolia677 (talk) 23:05, 14 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I have a problem with the SRCs. Since i already know the one for Shelby, how i am supposed to know the ones for other places i want to edit?

Please explain your source for the following:

  • At Rosedale, Mississippi, in this edit you stated there were 12.7% whites, but the Census Bureau "http://factfinder.census.gov/bkmk/cf/1.0/en/place/Rosedale city, Mississippi/POPULATION/DECENNIAL_CNT" states there are 12.8% whites.
  • At Shaw, Mississippi, in this edit you stated there were 93.0% blacks, but the Census Bureau "http://factfinder.census.gov/bkmk/cf/1.0/en/place/Shaw city, Mississippi/POPULATION/DECENNIAL_CNT" states there are 93.1% blacks.
  • At Shelby, Mississippi, in this edit you stated there were 94.3% black, but the Census Bureau "http://factfinder.census.gov/bkmk/cf/1.0/en/place/Shelby city, Mississippi/POPULATION/DECENNIAL_CNT" states there are 94.8% blacks.

Please explain yourself. Magnolia677 (talk) 00:12, 15 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I decided to do it by non-Hispanic. 94.8% was the entire Black population of Shelby including Hispanics. 94.3% is non-Hispanic black population of Shelby. Those three are all non-Hispanic Blacks.
