Hand ping-pong

[edit]

The article Hand ping-pong has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read WP:NFT. NawlinWiki 01:59, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"It doesn't really matter if the person is famous or interesting to be on Wikipedia."

Reverts

[edit]

I apologise. However, I did not reintroduce that text. My revert was of an edit made by an IP that seemed very out of character for the page[1]. It sounded like it could have been disparaging: "This guy claims he's really intelligent, but there's no proof". A combination of the potential for it being disparaging, along with the text having been introduced by an anonymous IP made me think it was best to revert that edit. I've just looked back at the history, and the text you referred to was reintroduced to your page by Roastytoast[2] some 4 days prior to the edit that I reverted.  — Timotab Timothy (not Tim dagnabbit!) 03:46, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
