September 2016[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Seagull123. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Gulf War, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. The name "Persian Gulf War" is already mentioned in the lead section, please provide some references that prove it is the most common name for the war before changing it, thank you!  Seagull123  Φ  16:54, 2 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

When I reverted your edit to Gulf War air campaign, I said that the name "Persian Gulf War" was already mentioned in the lead section, but upon checking more closely, I can see that it is not. Sorry for this confusion. But if you do want to change the name of the article, please find some references to prove that it is the most widely used name for the war, before proposing the change at the article's talk page. If you need any more help, just leave a message on my talk page. Thanks.  Seagull123  Φ  16:59, 2 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
