Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Bundelkhand Ekikrit Party[edit]

As stated in my nomination at WP:Articles for deletion/Bundelkhand ekikrit party

This article has no references to review so I searched a few Indian newspaper archives for both "Bundelkhand and Pandey" and "Ekikrit" identified nothing related. I think it's fair to say that a political party that isn't mentioned AT ALL in these major newspapers is not notable.

I recommend you review Wikipedia's criteria for notability and verifiability to understand why the raw number of Google hits for blog entries, etc. is not a sufficient justification for inclusion in an encyclopedia. If you add citations in the article to the references you alluded to in my talk page (they are not in the article as of now), that could be useful in persuading people.

In any event, the decision whether to keep or delete an article is a consensus-based one, so if you're right that the topic is verifiably notable in the opinion of the community, the article will surely be kept. Bongomatic (talk) 11:48, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
