Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Bahedman@earthlink.net, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you created was Bruce A. Hedman, which appears to be an article about yourself. This is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.
The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! Fyddlestix (talk) 22:10, 23 February 2017 (UTC)

- This editor's name is actually allowed under the grandfather rule, as the stipulation that '@' signs were forbidden was instituted after this editor's account was created. We do have precendence for this - Alison ❤ 23:11, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
- Oh, thanks Allison I did not think to check how old the account was. My bad, that comment can be ignored then! Fyddlestix (talk) 23:14, 23 February 2017 (UTC)

I would argue that my page is notable, because I cross multiple professions. I am a professor and a clergyman and a writer on Native American studies and psychology. I have a chapter on math and theology coming out this summer published by Notre Dame U Press, and have a grant from UConn on Native American studies.
