Serious violation of Wikipedia policy on Biographies of Living Person[edit]

Hello. The article Moshe Aryeh Friedman is in very serious violation on the policy of living people, as are its attempted deletion log, and talk pages. I put a notice up and reported it, but there are a large number of editors who seem intent on protecting its curent state, and it is already being threatened that the notice will be pulled down. I thought you could check it out. I don't feel comfortable trying to enforce policy on these kind of articles because I fear the editors will attack me on other pages. I disagree with your assertion that there is a serious violation of the BLP policy. To me, the article looks well-sourced with plenty of reliable sources, especially for the most controversial facts. -- tariqabjotu 22:02, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Freidman article[edit]

I saw the changes you made. Seem good. Thanks. I think we can rmove the tag now, if you do. We'll just need to keap a bit of an eye out. What do you think? Basejumper 13:36, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I think that the article as it currently stands is far more balanced and better sourced than before the changes were made. The article is on my watchlist and i will try to monitor any future changes. Alansohn 15:26, 19 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Basejumper. I followed your suggestion and removed the section on the fight in Poland from the article. This might run into some controversy since I have also been defending the Jews for Jesus, or at least trying to get them a more fair article. Wishing you well.
