skandha article - question about parenthetical comment

[edit]

Howdy! I see on 10:29, 4 September 2005 you made many excellent changes to the skandha article. I was wondering if you could provide a citation for one minor change you made, where you added to the definition of "vinnana" the parenthetical phrase, "(ie not asleep, knocked out or unconscious)." Because the definition of the skandhas varies so widely from school to school, could you provide the source for this parenthetical definition thereby allowing others to better understand its context? Thanks again for all your great work! LarryR 15:54, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Skandha article - exposition related to the Heart Sutra

[edit]

Howdy again! I see on [21 August 2005] you added some incisive commentary to the skandha article regarding the Heart Sutra. As it is though, that paragraph now seems kind of out of place. (Please see Talk:Skandha#Mahayana material for more information.) Mind if, given the article's current state, that one paragraph regarding the Heart Sutra is now deleted or reworded? Thanks for your help! LarryR 03:51, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
