Speedy deletion of "Metalimprovement.com"

[edit]

A page you created, Metalimprovement.com, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is obvious advertising or promotional material.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you. RJaguar3 | u | t 03:29, 23 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 00:35, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi! First, you'd have to write about it in your own words. Please don't simply copy promotional material as this is against copyright law and this site's rules. Second, you'd have to establish notability through third-party references such as a write-up in an industry publication. Third is the issue of notability, covered here. You'll find this section helpful in getting started. PMDrive1061 (talk) 00:59, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Metal Improvement Comapany(MIC), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. A tag has been placed on Metal Improvement Comapany(MIC) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

A tag has been placed on Metal Improvement Comapany(MIC) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

Blocked

[edit]
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy because your account is being used only for spam, advertising, or promotion. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.

Even if you own the copyright to the content, you may not use it here at all without first releasing it on your site under the terms of this site's licensing. This voids your original copyright. You're also involved with the company itself. This is not usually a problem, but the fact that you're continuously creating and recreating this subject suggests you're intent is self-promotion and advertising which are not allowed. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 15:14, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
