Adieu

I left Wikipedia long ago. You have no idea how delightful, satisfying, and vindicating it is to return today and find that this user (BetaCommand) has been eliminated and removed.

Dogmatic and myopic users such as BetaCommand finally drove me from Wikipedia (several months ago), and I suspect I am very far from alone.

With BetaCommand's being removed, perhaps a highly positive precedent has been set; perhaps there's hope for Wikipedia, after all.

And how perfectly lovely it is that BetaCommand would be exposed as a sock-puppeteer, and that he would wind-up be removed from the project due to his wildly anti-social and absurdly arrogant behaviour.

I suppose it was only a matter of time, though I'm sure he'll show again, in some form or another.

In the meantime, so, so, so very glad to see him gone, and to see that he fell on his own sword. Thanks to all who brought him to his quite deserved and ruinous end.

Yes, cheers to all, and cheers to Wikipedia's self-healing mechanisms. Keep at it. /// Clerkrole (talk) 23:35, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
