I currently plan to increase the article's length five-fold by increasing it from the current length of 500 words to at least 2500 words by 12/6 (my draft is at 719 as of 11/1). I've already begun rearranging and adding sections and sources to the draft here, and would like to add at least one image as well as at least 2 more sources. For a physician, her "career" section is particularly bare, so I plan to add a large amount of detail there. The lead section also needs more details (I've already added another summary sentence), and the overall flow of the article isn't particularly logical. Since the article itself is so short, adding content and moving around what's already there should result in a cohesive, detailed final draft by the due date. There are at least 3 very relevant articles in Cal Poly's library databases that aren't already used, which should provide a good amount of new information. Matthew's peer review[edit]

The sections in this article contain a lot of great information regarding her life and career and also has a structure that flows very logically. As noted on the article’s official Wikipedia page, it could benefit from finding some sources to verify any of the facts stated in the Medical Career section. Overall, this article is very informative. In my own article, I will try to model the very professional tone of this article. MatthewNadybal (talk) 05:54, 9 November 2018 (UTC)Matthew[reply]

Thank you for the peer review! I agree, finding more sources and adding them to this article will be really beneficial. Bethstrutz (talk) 22:27, 13 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Polishing my work[edit]

This week, I added some new content and details to the article. Most of this came from non-academic sources, outside of the university databases, so I had to be careful to find sources that were reliable and unbiased. I also added a new image to the article! I've continued moving over small pieces to the main page and publishing them, but I really still want to add some more to the section about her medical career. Unfortunately, I've started to come to the conclusion that there simply isn't a lot of information or sources about her time in the Dominican Republic, which comprised most of her career. I'm going to keep looking though, and hopefully to continue to add more info before the deadline! Bethstrutz (talk) 06:07, 30 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
