Sickle cell disease

[edit]

The information you provided whilst I agree was very interesting, did not warrented inclusion at such length in this a general encyclopedia article (given that it has not completed clincal trials/been compared to existing approaches/undergone a medical consensus as to the overall role it has to play in the management of SCD). If and when trials/licensing/role in overall SCD management confirmed to level hoped for by researchers and commercial companies then the drug will deserve its own article and the information you gave will form a useful description of its development. Having looked into some of the published matterial on PubMed (there really is not much yet), I've changed my mind and created its own article of Nicosan. I've therefore moved all the development & research information across, gave it some structure with section headers, expanded the details given in the previous citations and added further ones.David Ruben Talk 01:51, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You might want to read Wikipedia's policy on reverting content on pages to earlier versions (or, substantially the same versions). It can be found at WP:3RR. It is better to dicuss the issue on the article's talk page, Talk:Sickle-cell disease. The rule applies whether or not you are logged in. I look forward to seeing you on the talk page.
