Yeah.. no problem. That's the trouble with these talk pages.. they offer no particular tone of what you're saying. I'm not mad or anything. The reason I felt the antenna farm info was important, was that people not on cable or satellite, can aim their antennas in one direction to pick up stations' digital signals. (BTW to distinguish.. there are broadcasting antennas, and TV set antennas..the term "antenna farm" is used only for broadcasting antennas located on tall towers in a television market). Nashville is a good example of NOT having an broadcast antenna farm. All four network stations have transmitting towers on the north side, west side and south side of town. Focusing on one signal, will usually blur out the others if you change channels, and you have to move your TV set antenna. Poor Mountain however, is a good example of a broadcast antenna farm, with all the broadcast antenna transmitting sites, aim your TV set antenna at one place, and you'll pick up most of the stations. I'm on satellite myself, but I have a digital converter box that allows me to pick up signals from other cities, and for others who can do that, it's good to know what direction to aim the TV set antennas to pick those up. Plus, in these days of station competition, you'd never think putting a broadcast antenna transmission antenna on your competitor's tower would be allow, but during these economic times, TV stations are actually saving money that way.
