Led Zeppelin was completed in 36 hours with very little advanced booking notice, and was recorded, mixed and mastered entirely at Olympic Studios in London. I have very grave doubts over the claim that a New Yorker, Robert Honablue mastered the original tapes. Also the name Robert Honablue appears in no reference books, on engineering, for any Led Zeppelin album. The only reference to this claim is on Honablue's own website, and is thus not independently verified. It should also be pointed out that on Honablue's website he claims that in 1968, he was working at CBS Records in New York. Led Zeppelin was contracted to Atlantic Records, and did not record or master any music in 1968 in New York, at any CBS recording facility. NewYorkFred (talk) 03:11, 19 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
