Notability of Bronte O'Brien
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Bronte O'Brien, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Bronte O'Brien seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Bronte O'Brien, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Deleting speedy deletion notices
[edit]Please try not to remove speedy deletion notices from your talk page until the issue that caused the notice has been solved. it's considered uncivil (WP:CIVIL), and it may confuse admins. Also, per WP:TALK, "The removal of a warning is taken as evidence that the warning has been read by the user" , so I assume that you read the warning and saw that it said " please don't remove the notice yourself ". I have re-added the notice on the Bronte O'Brien article, added a {{hangon}} template to prevent a drive-by admin from deleting the article, and added a comment on the article's talk page. Also, I suggest you respond in some meaningful way to notices instead of answering ""Woo woot". Well, at least, you addressed the notability concerns :) --Enric Naval (talk) 09:33, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
P.D.: Meh, I see that the article already got deleted 3 times [1]. Seems that the admins didn't consider notable enough. Please find proof of notability, or it may get deleted again. If you have no more proof of notability and the article gets deleted again, then consider waiting until she becomes more notable -Enric Naval (talk) 09:33, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
forget about it
[edit]Looks like the admin that put up the speedy deletion notice has removed it himself, so he must consider it notable enough. (Please notice the article could still be nominated for deletion by someone else) --Enric Naval (talk) 09:37, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Bronte O'Brien
[edit]An editor has nominated Bronte O'Brien, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bronte O'Brien and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 03:59, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
