just wondering:
[edit]Just saw your chinese passport addns (which were good I guess...). Just a question on a single point: you write: Issued in accordance with the Nationality Law of the PRC, the passport is not used for travelling (...). What do you mean by that? i) Does the nationality law regulate issuing of chinese passports? ii) does the nationality law regulate what is internatl travel and what is not? does the nationality law state that passports are not valid for internal travel? At the moment it seems a bit ambiguous... L.tak (talk) 20:18, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
- Hey there. Thanks for your note. You're right - it was unclear. The Law has nothing to do with the issuance of passports, it only really defines who is eligible for them. I have reworded. Thoughts? Bosonic dressing (talk) 02:09, 16 January 2011 (UTC)
Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference
[edit]Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.
On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true
. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false
in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being minor in the usual way.
For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. With the script in place, you can continue with this functionality indefinitely (its use is governed by WP:MINOR). If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.
Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 18:24, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
Discussions concerning Indian Subcontinent
[edit]An ip user Special:Contributions/76.67.18.192 is trying to bring up discussions about this at South Asia and Indian Subcontinent. They are also trying to rename a section from "Definition by South Asian Studies programs" to "Definition by tertiary studies programs"
Since you were active on this subject in the past, I thought I should warn you. (you are being informed of this because I saw you participated in discussions in the Talk:South Asia archives) Thegreyanomaly (talk) 01:03, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
