What is "spam"?
[edit]Within a Wikipedia context, "spam" is not only commercial advertising, but also any other effort to publicize or market something: an organization, a meme, an ideology or religion, a website, etc. Thus, you can get in trouble for spamming us with links, etc. about a non-profit organization. --Orange Mike | Talk 02:40, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
