I've looked at entries for other bands, and I see them being no different than the entry of this one. I don't get why it should be deleted. I'm not trying to promote myself. I just want my band to be well-documented.

I'm not really interested in promoting my band. Is it alright now that I edited it? I want to get this stuff in here before I forget it. I'm new; sarcasm doesn't help.

Ad Nauseam 07:15, 20 July 2005 (UTC) I'm not being sarcastic. I like a couple of the bands you like and I really do wish you luck. But Wikipedia doesn't exist to help individual members remember important dates, it's an encyclopedia. Hopefully one day your band will merit an entry in an encyclopedia, but as you haven't even practiced together it clearly doesn't yet.

Your best bet is to move this to a user sub page. If you get an album out or achieve notoriety via some means then you'll earn your entry in the pedia, but it isn't here to record everything that happens in the entire world. Register as a user and store your stuff there - as long as you don't store megabytes of info, or breach copyright or decency laws then we tend to turn a blind eye to private user pages. This page WILL eventually get deleted - we don't tolerate vanity pages (which is what this is). I'll buy you some time to move it first Manning 07:42, July 20, 2005 (UTC)

Okay, thanks, I'll try to figure that out, and someday it will be up in the real thing. I just signed up. I don't know how to move it to a user sub page. This whole thing is confusing.
