Hi, I updated the daily deaths graph to only show the hospitals deaths in order to keep an accurate day to day trend. 46.253.184.161 (talk) 22:18, 4 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, there are divergent sources of the number of confirmed cases in France see for example https://www.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/bda7594740fd40299423467b48e9ecf6 so, maybe we should include this information on the timeline cases chart. LiPDC (talk) 10:17, 7 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi LiPDC. Some explanations here. Buisson (talk) 11:05, 7 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, the problem is that the confirmed cases mentioned in https://www.santepubliquefrance.fr/maladies-et-traumatismes/maladies-et-infections-respiratoires/infection-a-coronavirus/articles/infection-au-nouveau-coronavirus-sars-cov-2-covid-19-france-et-monde does not take into account the 23 620 cases notified by the EHPADS. So we have a very distorted view of the reality like an augmentation of only 2,7% on April 5th. We should maybe use the official source but add the EHPADs cases as we were doing LiPDC (talk) 16:56, 7 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
If you read French (or if you copy and paste in an online translator ;) ) here is a link to a discussion on the subject. In summary, taking cases into account in nursing homes means counting certain cases in duplicate and adding up tested cases and probable cases (which no other country does). Comment about France

[edit]

Hi Buisson! Thank you for your update about France. Maybe you can post it to Template talk:2019–20 coronavirus pandemic data? I think it would be useful for other editors to read it too. Best, --MarioGom (talk) 19:13, 15 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
