Welcome[edit]

Welcome!

Hello, Burpboohickie, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on your talk page. Again, welcome! Also note, I have moved your post to Talk:Jesus to the bottom of the page. On wikipedia, the latest posts go at the bottom. On talk pages, you will find a tab with a plus sign (+). If you click that tab, it will give you a form for automatically creating a new topic. Try it out sometime! -Andrew c [talk] 01:57, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Census of Quirinius[edit]

You placed a POV flag on this article after adding some comments on the talk page. There have been a couple of responses on that page. Do you have any further comments to make on this, or have your POV concerns been met? If not, can you comment further? Thanks, --Rbreen (talk) 22:39, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cafeteria Christianity[edit]

Burpboohickie, if you want to put a POV tag on a page - there should be one at the top, not in the text (there is a separate inline tag for single points in the text you may want to draw attention to) - you should put a reasonable summary of your concerns on the Talk page of the article, and take part in any ensuing discussions. The guidelines say that "Everyone can agree that marking an article as having an NPOV dispute is a temporary measure, and should be followed up by actual contributions to the article in order to put it in such a state that people agree that it is neutral." I have moved the tag to the top of the page, and I actually agree that the article is highly POV in its entirety, but it would help to resolve the issue if you were to actively participate. Thanks. --Rbreen (talk) 08:27, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The same goes for Authors of the Bible. Please bring up your objections on its talk page. -Elmer Clark (talk) 02:08, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
