Redirects

[edit]

Hello. Your edits related to redirects today were very pointless. I corrected the mess but now you've gone and reverted. As a new user, you may be unaware of WP:MOSMAC. Per policy, a mountain/lake/river in North Macedonia is a "Macedonian mountain/lake/river". While these redirects had no need to be created in the first place, the only article about "Macedonian mountains" for example is List of mountains in North Macedonia. There is no such article for mountains in Greek Macedonia because that is covered in List of mountains in Greece. So, these redirects can either go to the North Macedonia articles (since none exist for the Greek Macedonia ones) or you can make them into disambiguation pages that can link to multiple articles. Does that make sense? --Local hero talk 20:53, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Macedonian flag

[edit]

Hi Buzz427. You are absolutely right about the Vergina symbol. The symbol should stay at the banner and we should change the note below "The flag, Vergina Sun, and regional anthem are unofficial but their use is widespread." since the sun is official.

The flag, since it is not official, should not be in the banner because it is misleading. It should be added as a separate section below. Also the "widespread" use of the flag cannot be quantified; can we have a source on this? My personal experience is that the use of the flag peaked in the 90s and is really diminishing nowadays. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.11.54.124 (talk) 05:44, 15 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
