RE: Endeavour edits
[edit]I apologize for my recent revert to your edits on Endeavour...it was clearly trigger-happy and I promptly undid it along with the warning I posted on your talk page. After having recently returned to Wikipedia, I am still a bit rusty, but it's best that my mistakes are recognized rather than left alone. Best wishes for the new year! SY Nahlin's TENDER
[edit]The entry indicates the TENDER was built at Robertson's Yard, not the S Y Nahlin (which was built at J Brown's on the Clyde)
Robertson's Yard specialised in building tenders (motor boats, lifeboats, owners motor launch, sailing dinghies etc) for larger yachts/ships (over 120 ft) which were usually constructed in the big shipyards further up the Clyde.
This luxurious 28ft LOA teak plank carvel motor launch was built to special order for the designer, at a cost of £246 7s 1d. This was logged as Robertson Boat 40 in the build ledger, and indicates that this was Mr G L Watson's last design. The company of Messrs G L Watson and Co went on to design many other boats.

SY Nahlin's TENDER Correction
[edit]Copied the info for the wrong tender
Robertson's Yard Boat No 186. 30', 6 ton, Owner's Motor Launch: double skin mahogany; 2 cabins; electric lighting; 35 bhp Thornecroft engine. Built for the Steam Yacht Nahlin, owned by Lady Yule of Glasgow. The 296' SY Nahlin was built in 1930 by John Brown & Co Clydebank and designed by G L Watson & Co. They also supplied a Crew's Tender, which was boat No 187.

[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Mhairi Black. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. IgnorantArmies (talk) 17:08, 20 July 2015 (UTC)
