Caitlin Kennedy is one strong person. She has experienced many difficulties in her life. When she was on 5 years, she were have big accident. Here is her story.. "I never thought it would happen to me. From this day forward I am convinced that miracles happen. Just need to be strong and believe in themselves and in your own powers. I realized that what hurts you makes you stronger! I made with the pains thanks to the love of my family, friends and especially God. The story of my accident is debt. I will try to tell. I hope you understand me. Just hard after so much time to lose some memories from my head. everytime when I started to tell that i start to cry. I am a orginaly girl. I was born in Ontario, Canada. My parents moved when I was born,in Atlanta, Georgia. I don't remember nothing from Ontario and never have visited this city again. Miss me a lot. Anyway, I love to ride horses. I always rode. But the accident made me quit riding for a long time. Now I am back on horses. In one sunny day on 4/20/04 Dad had come to drove me home, from the horse race. Then coach told us that we have incredible opportunity to compete in Texas. I was in heaven. I have long waited for this moment. She explained that the plane will take off us on April 22th. We had 2 days to prepare. When I got home i Said to my Mom. She started jumping for joy! We were all very happy. The evening before 22, I couldn't dine. I was very excited! But my dear mother made me eat. We traveled with our best friends. On the plane was amazing. Throughout talked on the phone and playing on the computer. Here is that after 2 hours of travel, finally we arrived in Frisco. We sat at the Hotel Exterior. The rooms were large, spacious and pleasant. The race was on April 25. We had 3 days to tour around Frisco. The feeling in my stomach was still standing and passionate. During these 3 days was a lot of fun. We went to great fun-fair rides, we visited some of the best restaurants in town with my father riding a bull (not really), shopping in malls. These three days passed very quickly. And now that the long-awaited day. We wake up early in the morning. Around 8:30. During this time I changed clothes for the ride. We were all very excited. At 10:00 we headed to the horse race. There waiting for me my favorite horse and my trainer. I never imagined it would be so great. There were many people. Before ordering the starting line, I, Mom and Dad prayed the Lord to protect me during the race. My parents sat in the front rows. I was happy but very scared. I'm glad you all are there in this difficult moment for me. Here's that man with the speaker said: Ready, Prepare, Start. Then me and my horse went. In the first part of the competition is doing very well. Finished sixth in a row. Started the second half of the race. Somewhere around the middle of the race Athens (my horse) is afraid of a man in a row, waving a U.S. flag in front in. She started to run very fast. I was not ready for that. Then sit with forces let the reins in. Athens threw me 3 or 4 meters. In the fall, I felt nothing, just a pop on my back. Then once I was on the ground, the pain started to become very strong. I felt that some part of my body bleed. Then I noticed that people started moving towards me. Mom and Dad were very worried. Dad calling to the ambulance , Mother prayed, and my friends held me by the arms. The ambulance was delayed. I began to wheeze.i can't see anymore. Came to local doctors and medicine with some paralyzed part of my body. They gave me much pain. The ambulance came. They said that my spine was broken in places and one of the main vein that runs on my leg is broken. I lost much blood. They said if I pay 90% will not survive. Then Mom started to cry more loudly. Dad insisted that they could try. I heard voices saying 'Hang on, you're American, you can. " At one time came helicopter. I looked hard and I got into the helicopter. Doctors rule all he can. They took me in the College of Medicine St. Clair College in Frisco. They immediately brought me in the operating room. I tried to say something, but i cant, trying to move, but my attempts were unsuccessful. At one time I heard the doctors determine the date and time of my death. For God i wanted to shout "No don't do that oh God, I'm still alive"! I began to pray to the God. I felt that the doors are closed to me. Iron Curtain descended over my eyes. From that moment nothing is not miscarrying. After a while I woke up in a room with white walls and blue. I did not know I'm alive still. Fortunately I was. I was all bandaged, had tubes throughout the body, breathing apparatus and pumps that I gushed blood. Later came Mom and Dad. They were overjoyed and wept with joy. Kissed me and hugged me. The doctors explained that my heart has stop for a few minutes. But with joint efforts and some help from God they were able to take me back to life. I had to stay one month in the hospital. This month seemed like a century. A few weeks later I moved into another room. And later this room was decorated with various posters and postcards made from my classmates and friends. They wrote that they miss a lot that will always be to me, and believe that I am strong and will fix it quickly. That is, that anticipated day of discharge occurs. When I said goodbye to the amazing doctors, who saved my life. We headed to the airport. i was in wheelchair for a long time. About 1 month. When the plane landed at the airport, they took their luggage and went in the first taxi we saw on Riverdale Rd. Then I felt the incredible smell of hamburgers and hot doses of Downtown. Rough bystanders who were frustrated by traffic. Yes, I missed a whole month. Finally we arrived in cobb county, GA (Marietta, GA). In front of my house waiting for me all my classmates and friends. I cant tell you how i feel at this moment. Days were school dances. I was in a wheelchair, but that doesnt stop me having fun. However, I could get, and I had an incredible partner who held me when I was falling. Now I feel more back pain, but most leg hurts. SOMETIMES swells when I'm tired or I'm walking a lot. Still reckon. My thought is that you should always believe in God and dont give up. We must be strong even when we are on the verge of death. I am very grateful and from that day on, my parents are trying to make my life memorable and full of adrenaline. Later, my sister was born, and then her and my brother. They are small, but still proud of me"..
