Wikipedia's meaning of notability

[edit]

Please note that within Wikipedia, Notability has a specific meaning as described here: WP:N. It means that the subject of the article has recieved significant coverage by reliable third party sources. See also the more specific guideines regarding corporations and products WP:NCORP particularly WP:PRODUCT. Active Banana (talk) 16:48, 23 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please read our guidelines on what counts as a reliable source: WP:RS. Google hits dont count. Active Banana (talk) 17:24, 23 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It is not my duty to find the reliable sources. WP:BURDEN. If you want to remove the tags regarding notability, then you must actually provide the third party sourcing. Active Banana (talk) 17:31, 23 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
