Now, uh... I don't know who the genius is (how would I find out?) who wrote, or edited, Verdi's page. It says that Verdi COMPOSED THE OVERTURE for the Barber of Seville. At the age of three, presumably. Goodness.

Who are you to determine that The Marriage of Figaro article contains unecessary detail??[edit]

I suggest that you refer to the DISCUSSION PAGE before arbitrarily removing copy from an article, especially the 20 opera articles which contain this reference to their popularity.

Now you have removed the entry a SECOND TIME and it has been replaced by another editor.
