User talk:Cardone Fabio
A tag has been placed on Fabio Cardone requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
Conflict of interest note
[edit]By your user name, it appears that you represent a company or organization. Please read our conflict of interest guidelines. We welcome your contributions here, but please refrain from writing about your own company's services and personnel, as you did in Fabio Cardone. Thanks, and happy editing! I am sorry but Ruggero Santilli has lot of reliable sources and Giovanni Amelino-Camelia has at least one paper published in one of world's most prestigious physics letters B journal. Thanks. abhih 15:03, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
I have many papers on international journal as well since I am a colleague of Giovanni Amelino-Camelia and I know Ruggero Santilli as well. So the main thing not to have my page deleted is to mention my peer reviewed publication on international journals Physics Letters B, Physical Review, Physics letters A......Physics Letters A 326 (2004) 1-13 - Physics Letters A, 289, 279 (2001) ). Is that correct?--Cardone Fabio 15:13, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
I give you the URL of my web page where all my peer reviewed publications on international famous journal can be found. Fabio Cardone Home Page. I have a question: once you have posted a speed deletion tag for a page, can you retreat it and remove the threatening tag on the page? Thanks--Cardone Fabio 15:33, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
Just in case you have not read my talk page..
Please add list of your publications in reputed journals in references section in your article and please expand, improve quality of article. Thanks. abhih 16:44, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
Please do not delete it I will improve it and add all the references of important Journals
[edit]Hi I have been improving my page and tomorrow I will include more references to show that my scentific work is well recognized by important physical journals. Besides I will add the reference tomy books as well Energy and geometry (World scientific) and Deformed spacetime (springer). As I am a new user I am not very fast at editing my page that you may still deem for deletion. For today (it is 9.00 pm in Rome Italy) I have done my best to improve it and get it up to wikipedia standards. What I am asking you is to put off any deleting or banning action, if you think there should be any, until tomorrow morning so that at least I can defend my page. Please do not delete it tonight (night for me). Thanks in advance for your patience with a new user nearly alone in this apparently endless ocean that are Wikipedia editing instructions.--Cardone Fabio 20:08, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

- Hello, and welcome! Thanks for being interested in complying with the guidelines here, and to that end, I'd like to offer some helpful information to you. (I'll put it on your talk page as well): I realize Wikipedia might seem confusing at first, (please click on the blue words to read the policy/guide they refer to). Wikipedia is not like other sites you may have come across. First, it is an encyclopedia. What this means, is that it is not MySpace, or FaceBook, or a place to place your resume, or a place where editors can make articles about anything they wish. Wikipedia has Core policies, such as neutrality, notability, verifiability, etc. What does all of this mean? Well, it means that any article on Wikipedia must demonstrate notability (meaning it must be note worthy, covered by the media, etc.), and have reliable, third-party sources (such as news media articles, magazine/trade journal articles, not personal websites, blogs, or fan sites) written about the subject, and the information given in the article must cite those sources to verify it is true. From those sources, information is summarized, paraphrased, condensed, and worded neutrally to make an encyclopedic entry (information cannot be copied from other sites). See Wikipedia's manual of style, layout guide, your first article, article development, and how to edit for assistance. Additionally, Wikipedia has a conflict of interest guideline that states you should not create or edit articles about yourself, your company, your family, friends, etc., as you'd likely be unable to do so neutrally. Neutrality is one of the core policies of Wikipedia, and as you call this "Your" article, I assume you are the subject of the article. Without reliable, third-party sources to show notability. This article is basically your resume, and while you're obviously well educated and hold a respected position, unless you've been written up by the media or other journals that can be cited, I'm afraid the article doesn't have verifiability. I'd suggest that you refrain from editing the article directly, and instead, bring any sources you have to the article's talk page, to allow neutral editors to add them if appropriate. (Also, please note that no editor "owns" a page.) I hope this helps! Ariel♥Gold 20:19, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
about the one of the external links
[edit]There is one external link in Fabio Cardone page that refers to a web page in which I defend my work against the false accusals made by Ruggero Santilli. These accusal were completely refuted by Italian courts and American courts as well. In spite of that he keeps all his false accusations on a web site. I know this link might be against Wikipedia policy but I reckon that the 25 year good work that I have done must be defended against possible threatens not only for me but for a true knowledge of historical events. So please do not delete the page because of it and if should you require any further explanation do not hesitate to ask me. Thanks. --Cardone Fabio 20:25, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
- Just a quick note: Please don't use HTML code on Wikipedia. Wikipedia uses its own language, WikiScript, and while some HTLM code works, it can alter the way a page displays in most cases. If you want to make a line break, just enter twice :) Remember that pages you've written, or articles you've written, are not reliable, third-party sources, so again I really encourage you to read the above section I gave you with the relevant policies and guidelines. Thanks! Ariel♥Gold 20:29, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
Removal of WP:PROD
[edit]I have removed prod warning from your article because I confirmed at least one reference from Foundation of Physics site. But this does not mean that quality of article is perfect. I merely confirmed third party reliable source.
Also I have noticed edits from anonymous IP address. If you think it is vandalism, check history of article. You can click on 'undo' and restore previous version of article. Some anonymous IP give positive contributions. Some use it for vandalism. This is strength and also weakness of wikipedia.
Thanks. abhih 15:50, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
