Caryn MiXX was born Desiree Ann Duhfaux In Brixton, UK to Althea Skytopp Hernandez and Karl Cady Duhfaux. Althea a homemaker and flowershop owner , Karl a financial advisor at a local bank. When Caryn was just a teenager the family moved to Austin, TX. There Caryn enrolled in public school where she graduated with a decent GPA. Caryn enrolled at a university to study marketing management, she also completed a certificate in public relations/image management. Mid college Caryn started her own publicity agency MHI meaux Haus international. After college, Caryn became interested in producing music and singing her own vocals. She began working with former colleague Roz Kelly and Oka top on her first album.

In 2013 Caryn released her first LP "Classifieds on Earth" onto YouTube music, SoundCloud and Audiomack. The Album was a critical success.

In 2015 "Sacreligious", Caryns' 2nd album, was released to the public with the title song "Sacreligious (cult mix) , reaching 66 on the UK, US and international billboard charts.

Caryn currently resides in Silver lake hills, CA, with her two dogs.
