I am sooo sorry Edward. I was in the process of adding some notes about the origins of the Parisii and the Cassi. I was trying to add some notes to yours and accidentally deleted yours. I am truly sorry and feel horrible about this. I am going to do a deep dive on how to use the site and get my citations in order before attempting again.

I research Genealogy, specifically in relation to the Cléve surname from which both the surnames Clough and Cleveland descend, as well as many others.

I have found several references tying the surnames together in England and France, however I am also interested in any possible connections to the Duchy of Cléve if you have any recommendations.
