4TV

[edit]

Is there any reason you're assisting the hijack of 4TV by those favouring the Turkish station over the Urdu one? Cabayi (talk) 11:02, 12 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

No, I was acting as counter-vandalism. I got notified of a big deletion. I saw that there was not enough reasoning from my view to remove a full section. You could make the article favor neither by making the article talk about both the Urdu and Turkish sides. Like always keep a neutral point of view. Ceasharks (talk) 12:09, 12 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The size of the edit is not a sound basis to decide whether an edit is vandalism or not. In this case a sockpuppet created an article for the Turkish station at 4UTV. Once it was deleted, rather than be detected as a repeat sock they hijacked 4TV, the article about the Urdu TV station. You've been used as a cat's paw of the vandals. Please be more careful.
While your instinct to look for compromise is laudable, it's not possible to make a single article about two different subjects, neutral point of view or not. Cabayi (talk) 18:53, 12 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
