Edinburgh League of Gamers

The Edinburgh League of Gamers (often abbreviated as ELG) is an Edinburgh based miniature wargaming and board games club. The gaming club meets regularly on a weekly basis and is located within the RAF club in Edinburgh.

History

The gaming club itself was founded in 2006 and is now in it's 11th year.

Running

The club has always been run by a club committee that is voted in by the members every year. Initially the committee consisted of 4 roles, however the roles have changed and developed over the years as responsibilities expanded and changed depending on what is needed. The committee is currently made up of 5 official positions and there is normally 5-6 people on the committee as sometimes the position is shared between two people. There are also a number of supporting roles that filled to ensure the smooth running of the club.

  • Club Chairman
  • Secretary
  • Member Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Events Coordinator
