Talk: Great Pacific Garbage Patch[edit]

Collection of marine trash and debris in the Pacific Ocean. Has a lot of plastics and other floating trash, but cannot be seen from the sky. This is rapidly accumulating and can also be found along the Atlantic Ocean. Currently, there are some projects working on trying to help clean up the oceans, but the plastic in the ocean is increasing everyday. This of course can lead to affect marine life and human life as well. Chantaldperez (talk) 20:23, 5 April 2019 (UTC) Created Wikilink[reply]

One mechanism they are implementing is the use of machinery to help pick up some of the garbage in the oceans. System 001 is a type of machine that aids in helping, but unfortunatley one of the legs of the machine broke and the process had to be stopped. This major setback has been delaying ocean cleanup activity, but they hope to have t working again in a few months. Chantaldperez (talk) 20:23, 5 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
