[edit]

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to List of cases of police brutality in the United States. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. What you added is not neutral - you should avoid adding opinions such as 'unjustified' etc. Also, could you please provide sources for material you add, such as a link to a news article. ῤerspeκὖlὖm in ænigmate(talk)(spy) 04:17, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The shooting was found to be UNJUST by the police review board! (http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/northwestvoices/2014270637_officerbirkresignsshootingruledunjustified.html) is just one of about a thousand articles that says the same thing. --Cheesycat (talk) 06:14, 5 September 2011 (UTC)ag[reply]

Then may I suggest you re-work your addition to quote the specific phrases used and reference the above article. This will ensure people do not assume the same thing in the future! ῤerspeκὖlὖm in ænigmate(talk)(spy) 06:24, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

What part of "His actions were confirmed unjustified and against his training", my original wording, isn't specific? No re-working needed, that is exactly what I said! How one assumes that was my personal analysis is beyond me! I didn't say, I/we feel, or, 'in my opinion'. It shows they investigated, and found it to be unjustified! The fact that you did not provide a source made it sound like your own analysis. ῤerspeκὖlὖm in ænigmate(talk)(spy) 06:49, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
