Welcome to Wikipedia-chemistry. Since you are still a new editor, here are suggested readings: WP:SECONDARY and WP:COI. The gist of these guidelines are:

Wikipedia prefers citations to reviews and books, not primary journal articles. tens of thousands appear annually. Citing secondary sources is the encyclopedic style. I removed your ref to the phosphenium complex from the Collman's reagent article. There is no way that Wikipedia can or even wants to cite every article appearing in the primary literature.
Do not cite yourself or your colleagues. It's called conflict of interest. Many new editors cite themselves or their colleagues mainly. That behavior is inappropriate.

Wilkinsons

Hi Chemthulhu, I again reverted some of your work. There are ~3389 publications, patents, and reports on Wilkinson's catalyst, so there is no way that we discuss much less mention all of them. For these articles, it is generally encouraged that one relies on secondary references - reviews. Also some details that were added are incorrect or potentially misleading: according to Wilkinson, the complex has "low" solubility in MeOH and virtually none in hexanes. A great source of information are eEROS and Inorg. Syn.
