A note from latinlovinglatino

[edit]

Hah hah, funny..."no thanks;" tee hee. Anyway, thanks for ending my fun with the mottos. I'm sure you know that I will never do it again. And I know that you will be monitoring every college around to make sure that neigher myself nor someone else tries the same prank. Latinlovinglatino 21:28, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

great - it's really been a pleasure. Chinesejewboy 17:23, 22 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Why must you be so unpleasant? Maybe if you were a bit less caustic I would be inclined to move on to good faith edits. Have you every thought of that? Latinlovinglatino 17:57, 22 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Me? Caustic? Let's see exhibit A:

Fuck you. Latinlovinglatino 18:24, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

Maybe I just misinterpreted that - perhaps there was a more nuanced, positive interpretation that I failed to grasp? But anyway, there's no use to getting pissed off at each other. Can't we all just...get along? Chinesejewboy 19:11, 22 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
That comment was in response to your prior behavior. Anyway, as I said, latinlovinglatino has learned his lesson well. I am sure from now on we will get anong just fine. Have a nice day. Latinlovinglatino 21:29, 22 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It seems that someone has taken up my schtick

[edit]

Unfortunately, due to your hostility, I will not tell you which college's motto now reflects its students' stupidity. Latinlovinglatino 20:19, 23 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

you really love being a victim, don't you? I find the fact that you insist on prolonging this idiocy quite entertaining, as you seem obviously starved for attention. Chinesejewboy 22:26, 23 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Are you suggesting that all us latinos have victimhood complexes? Just because I expect you to comply with wikipedia:civility does mean I "love to be a victim" or am "starved for attention".Latinlovinglatino 22:38, 23 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
haha, i seriously did not anticipate you going there, but that's amazing. Amazing. I mean, Jews were never victims or anything, and neither are interracial families, so obviously I represent the oppressor in this relationship. But hey, you did cite wikipedia:civility! Thanks for pointing it out! I am a changed man, believe you me! Chinesejewboy 22:51, 23 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I imagine everyone has been a victim at some point. but sometimes victims compensate by dumping on other victims (see: poor whites in the American south). But let me tell you, my knowledge and love of the wonderful latin language is all I have in this world and Latin is the only way I can manifest my being onto Wikipedia. So why do you have to mess with my manifested being like that, hombre? Latinlovinglatino 01:19, 24 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have fixed my userpage

[edit]

I properly referenced the quote in order to eliminate any potential misrepresentation. When you make a quote in a widely distributed publication, you are consenting to someone potentially quoting your words. Such quotes are legitimate if they are properly attributed, which this one now is. Sorry for now properly attributing this quote initially. Thanks. Latinlovinglatino 20:50, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

ok - i'm still curious why you're doing this...who are you? do i know you? no antagonism here, just wondering. Chinesejewboy 20:57, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
First, you do know me. Secondly, I really have no good reason for doing this. I guess I just think you're clever for catching that motto -- it has been there for a good while. Latinlovinglatino 21:11, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You're right

[edit]

People shouldn't mess with college mottos. They are very important. How is your advocacy for the sciences going? Classics guy 04:06, 11 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fantastically. Thanks for asking. Chinesejewboy 17:09, 11 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey
