[edit]It's not clear which, if any, of these sentences are your sample sentences -- all seem rather informal and look like they are parts of your plan for the article. If that is the case, you are missing your sample sentences!
References look great, but you need to put them in the correct format - APA, MLA, ACS, whatever you are most comfortable with but they must be more than just links. Your plan looks like a solid one for expanding this article. Good job so far.
