Re: In Plain Sight - Composers[edit]

The composers may be notable enough to be included in the section on development and production, but I don't think they deserve an entire section and multiple tables all to themselves. I've noticed that most editors on Wikipedia prefer prose rather than charts or lists. IMDb is not usually considered a reliable source because it (much like Wikipedia) is something that anyone can edit, but in my experience, it isn't regularly checked for factual accuracy. You may be able to cite the episodes themselves (if the composers are listed in the credits of the episode) for seasons 3 and 4. Season 5 doesn't start for another couple of days (in the U.S.; I'm not sure about other countries), but that could be cited once it airs. If you'd like to add the information in the "Development and production" section, I'd suggest something like this: "Jeff Beal composed the theme song for the series, which was used until the end of the third season. For the fourth season, a new theme song was used, written by Evan Frankfort, Liz Phair, and Marc Dauer." I'm not sure if that last part is correct, but it wouldn't be too difficult to check on. I'd continue with: "W.G. Snuffy Walden composed the music for the first season, followed by Tree Adams for the second season. Evan Frankfort, Liz Phair, and Marc Dauer composed the music for the remainder of the series." Again, I'm not quite sure if I got that last part correct. Anyway, the addition would be great for the production section, especially once it can be verified. Thanks. Kevinbrogers (talk) 02:07, 15 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
