[edit]As to your edit on melanosome, we don't elaborate excessively from an isolated and single primary source. This is unencyclopaedic. Chhandama (talk) 03:04, 26 May 2017 (UTC)
- There was a lot of really good information in the paragraphs that I posted. Isn't there someway that I can put them back up on the page? I read all of those articles for a college project and this is part of my assignment. Christoivonen30 (talk) 20:04, 26 May 2017 (UTC)
- I don't think reposting would be a great idea as no experienced editor is likely to accept your contribution. Simply your text is not encycopaedic (see Wikipedia:Five pillars and Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not). As far as I can assess, your text is more suitable for a scientific journal, and Wikipedia is not one. You used a singe source to write a full-length essay/paragraph, which is nothing but a scientific review/discussion. Normally every statement needs a citation, unless it is a straightforward fact. And this is not a place for writing project report. But of course, you are very much welcome to edit if you follow the Wikipedia policies. Chhandama (talk) 04:18, 27 May 2017 (UTC)
