Dear Climateuser,

It's indeed right to download the zip-files from the website. Afterwards, you can put the data from notepad into a spreadsheet-document like MS Excel, and then I normally divide the different kind of data (each temperature, precipitation, sunshine) over multiple columns. After that, you can use the data to calculate the averages. Note with monthly data that they are chronologically ordered when you put in the formulas. --OPolkruikenz (talk) 14:54, 3 September 2014 (UTC)
