Your request for adminship

[edit]

Hi Cmach7, I have undone your attempt at RFA because it wasn't properly formatted. I recommend you read Wikipedia:Guide to requests for adminship and WP:NOTNOW before trying again. Feel free to leave any questions you have on my talk page or here. Legoktm (talk) 15:25, 8 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for letting me know. I'll read the pages. Cmach7 (talk) 22:56, 8 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Apparently you didn't read WP:NOTNOW, because there's no way you'll pass at this point. I recommend withdrawing. --Rschen7754 02:46, 9 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I have went on WP:NOTNOW & finally read and understood it. Now I understand it. Cmach7 (talk) 14:14, 9 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Request for adminship

[edit]

I have undone your request for adminship as it is malformed. You are welcome to resubmit it in the proper format, but please be aware that you will not pass as you have not been here long enough. Please see WP:NOTNOW. --Rschen7754 03:26, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your request for adminship

[edit]

Hello Cmach7,

While we appreciate that you want to help out, it really is too soon for you to apply. Typically, an administrator candidate will have several years of editing and a few thousand edits to their name. Also, while it is not mandatory, many people will also expect a candidate to have spent a while marking things for deletion, participating in deletion discussions, reporting vandalism, and so on. To get a fuller idea of what you need, I suggest you spend a while reading other people's requests for adminship.

Thanks, and good luck for the future. — Hex (❝?!❞) 15:04, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Adminship

[edit]

looking back over this page's history, I see that there are several comments from various editors relating to your application to be an admin. You have blanked these comments, which is why other people keep coming here. At this moment in time you have a total of 477 edits, made since you created this account in December of last year. While quality of edit is more important than quantity, your total is a small fraction of the usual number created by successful candidates; a sensible number will be over 6,000. You also need to have a good grasp of the basic admin-related functions - speedy deletions, vandal nomination, articles nominated for deletion, possibly unacceptable usernames and so forth. But if you keep going you will get there.--Anthony Bradbury"talk" 21:02, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for helping me. Cmach7 (talk) 22:29, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

RFA time number 3

[edit]

Your repeated filing of RFAs is disruptive. Please do not do it again or you will be blocked. --Rschen7754 22:49, 28 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Rschen, this link: User talk:Cmach7/Archive 2#Short new articles without references might be helpful in understanding what is going on with this user. --MelanieN (talk) 00:48, 29 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
