Meitei versus Meetei

[edit]

Hi, the spelling of "Meitei" as "Meetei" seems to be nothing like as common and therefore I have reversed your contribution to Meitei people. In situations such as this, it really doesn't matter how the government may spell it and in any case it is well-known that the governments in India are inconsistent with regard to such things. If you wish to pursue this change of spelling then you will need to take a read of our policy - WP:COMMONNAME - and then discuss it on the article talk page. Thanks. - Sitush (talk) 09:12, 8 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
